Excavate! is a great archaeology game. Build a team then dig for ruins. Excavate! requires a nose for adventure and good planning as you use various tools to find old artefacts.

Pick who you want in your team, then use your available funds to buy some archaeological tools. Once you’re at the dig site, check your maps and survey the area, before digging into plots of land to see what’s there.

If there are plants in the way, you’ll need to chop them down first and when you find something you’ll have to catalogue it properly. So you’ll need a well-balanced team of people who have strengths at different things.

Excavate! is lots of fun to play and even a teeny bit educational. Try it out, and see what you can find.
