2048 is one of the most popular games on the internet. Not only is 2048 super addictive and fun it’s also a great workout for your brain.
The game was developed by 19-year-old Italian student Gabriele Cirulli in a single weekend before it went on to be played millions of times, spawning a host of variations from Doggy 2048 to 2048 Pokemon.
The game is reasonably simple to play but very hard to complete. The aim is to shuffle around numbered tiles on a board and try to merge them until you get to 2048.
Use the arrow keys to move the blocks into one another. Squares with the same value will then merge, with the resulting tile combining the score of the two previous tiles into one.
2048 was based on a couple of existing games, including 1024, a bit like Flappy Bird was. Indeed there is even Flappy 2048!
Try it today, just make sure you have some spare time!Autosaur updated this game on 07 Oct , 2015.
